With over 46 years of experience, he has managed businesses across industries including steel, paper & board, sugar, confectionery, education, and media at the board and CEO levels. He has been the CEO of Al Tilal Steel Company Ltd. since 2014 and has been associated with the Group globally in various capacities since 1988.
Muhammad Asdaf

Muhammad Asdaf is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) with over 25 years of experience in the UAE and Pakistan. He has worked with leading multinationals including Philips, Tyco, Mondelez, and Ingredion (Rafhan Maize Products). His expertise spans manufacturing, projects, and service environments, with a focus on driving organizational efficiency, strategic planning, and process improvement.
Salahudien Abu Shehada
Chief Commercial Officer
Salahudien holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from King Saud University (1993). With 28 years of experience in sales, marketing, logistics, business development, and team building, he has served in top steel companies in KSA. Since joining Al Tilal Steel in 2019, he has significantly expanded and diversified the company’s customer base.
Hamid Al Hazmi
Consultant Advisor, Rolling Mill
With decades of experience in rolling mill operations, Hamid Al Hazmi specializes in optimizing production processes and enhancing operational efficiency. His expertise includes plant management and process improvement at ATSCL. He is committed to driving productivity, minimizing downtime, and ensuring adherence to SASO and international quality standards. Hamid is also skilled in formulating and implementing innovative solutions for rebar production.
Muhammad Javaid Iqbal
General Manager Technical
Muhammad Javaid Iqbal has been with the Group for 42 years, bringing extensive experience in maintenance, fabrication, and production within the steel sector. He holds an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pakistan.
Magad Fatehelbab Ibrahim
Head of Quality Control
Magad holds a B.Sc. in Metallurgy Engineering from Suez Canal University, Egypt, with over 29 years of experience in the steel sector. He previously served as Quality Control Manager at ARCOSTEEL and joined Al Tilal Steel in August 2023.
Ali Subhani
Head of Electrical & Mechanical
Ali Subhani holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from UET Lahore and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). With 15 years of experience at a leading steel plant in Pakistan, he has held roles including Manager of Electrical & Automation and Deputy Manager of Rolling Mills. He is skilled in team leadership, strategy implementation, and equipment/system optimization.
