Rashid Masood is a results-oriented IT executive with over fourteen years of experience in SAP consulting, enterprise systems management, and digital transformation across the packaging, food, and steel manufacturing sectors. As Head of SAP and Information Technology at Al Tilal Steel, he leads the strategic design and implementation of the company’s enterprise resource planning systems and digital infrastructure. His work ensures that technology not only supports operational efficiency but also drives long-term business innovation.
Mr. Masood’s career at Al Tilal spans over a decade, with key contributions as an SAP MM and SD Functional Consultant from 2011 to 2018, followed by his current leadership role. He has led critical upgrades, integrated plant systems such as weighbridges and spectrometers with SAP, and developed digital interfaces to support manufacturing intelligence and real-time decision-making. His current focus includes disaster recovery planning, SAP roadmap execution, system security enhancement, and service continuity across all digital platforms used by the company.
Prior to rejoining Al Tilal Steel, Mr. Masood worked as a consultant with IBM Global Business Services, where he led SAP MM implementations and logistics execution projects for major clients including Engro Foods. His earlier experience includes roles in enterprise IT at National Foods and Packages Ltd., where he gained a deep understanding of supply chain systems, procurement, planning, and the business-user interface in SAP ecosystems.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business and Information Technology from KASBIT, Pakistan, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Karachi. He is also a certified SAP Application Associate in Materials Management and has extensive knowledge of ABAP development, business process mapping, agile deployment models, and end-user training programs.
At Al Tilal Steel, Rashid Masood ensures that the company’s IT infrastructure evolves alongside its industrial ambitions. His leadership continues to strengthen Al Tilal’s capability to operate as a data-driven, digitally integrated manufacturing enterprise.
