Salaheddin Rasheed Abu Shhadeh is a seasoned commercial executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience in the steel manufacturing, heavy equipment, and industrial sectors across Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC. His career has been defined by commercial transformation, high-impact growth strategies, and the successful execution of major industrial partnerships.
In 2025, Salaheddin rejoined Al Tilal Steel as Chief Commercial Officer, where he leads all aspects of commercial strategy, sales operations, customer relations, and market development. His deep knowledge of the Kingdom’s steel sector, combined with a strategic mindset, has positioned Al Tilal Steel to align with national megaprojects, secure long-term contracts, and expand into high-potential markets.
During his previous tenure at Al Tilal Steel, Salaheddin spearheaded initiatives that streamlined credit control, strengthened supplier relationships, and significantly increased both market share and commercial resilience. His understanding of steel procurement, logistics, and customer lifecycle management continues to underpin the company’s regional growth.
Before rejoining Al Tilal Steel, Salaheddin served as General Manager at Bin Yamani Holding, overseeing the industrial division’s operations at Solb Tihama and Al Shoroq Factory. There, he led a major production ramp-up, optimized supply chain logistics, and successfully obtained approvals from entities such as Aramco and other governmental bodies. Under his direction, the company adopted structured, data-driven sales models, improved contract delivery performance, and expanded into new verticals.
Previously, Salaheddin was General Manager at BRC Trading, where he implemented commercial realignment strategies that resulted in double-digit growth. He also spent nearly a decade at Attieh Steel Co. Ltd, initially as Regional Director for the Western Region and later as Director of Operations and Business Development. At Attieh Steel, he launched new product lines, entered regional markets such as Egypt, Oman, and Jordan, and led large contract negotiations in the public and private sectors.
Earlier in his career, Salaheddin gained critical experience at Al Jomaih Equipment Ltd and Arabian Auto Agency, where he managed operations and sales of industrial equipment, including agricultural machinery, generators, and trucks. His work in these sectors provided a strong foundation in customer relationship management, technical sales, and operational execution.
Salaheddin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Agricultural Engineering from King Saud University. He has also completed multiple professional development programs in commercial leadership, supply chain management, and industrial sales systems, with training in Italy and the GCC.
Fluent in Arabic and English, Salaheddin is known for his hands-on leadership, commercial intuition, and ability to position organizations for long-term competitiveness—qualities he now brings to the strategic advancement of Al Tilal Steel.
