Key Responsibilities:

• Join metal components using welding techniques based on project specifications
• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, or cutting to ensure strong welds
• Inspect and test welds for strength, accuracy, and compliance with safety standards
• Maintain welding equipment and perform routine checks to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to meet production goals and resolve technical issues
• Support maintenance operations, including emergency repairs during shutdowns

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 5-10 years as a welder in a steel plant or similar heavy industrial setting.
